Christine Falls was painted after my own visit to Mount Rainier National Park. I was drawn to the way the stone bridge frames the falls and how the water moves through the dense forest below. This piece reflects my experience of standing there, taking in the cool air, shifting light, and steady flow of water through the landscape.
