This original oil painting was created from photos I took while hiking in Olympic National Forest. The crystal turquoise water seemed almost surreal—so vivid and pristine. Since painting this piece, the area was ravaged by forest fires that burned for more than four months this past year. This painting now holds even deeper meaning as a preservation of that beautiful landscape as it once was.
